Bamboo is locally available in the forests, as it grows wild. It is not cultivated for providing raw material.

Cane (Thri)
Cane is also available locally in the forests. It is not cultivated and also grows wild. If cane is not available then substitutes such as plastic are used.

Jute Fiber (Sun)
Jute fiber is available from the forests only. Its use is limited and it is not utilized to its maximum potential.
