A special effort is being made to document languishing as well as nearly extinct crafts and textiles of India. Write-ups and information on languishing crafts are indicated with special markers (*) and can be searched for under the generic crafts criterion of 'languishing'.

This section also features a monograph series that seeks to present original and in-depth research on various aspects of craft traditions by students and academics in the field. The monographs are distinguished by separate markers (* indicates monograph) and can be searched for under the generic crafts criterion of ‘monograph’.
