SKILL/Nepal basically impart vocational skill training courses to the socially and economically deprived school dropouts from the rural and semi-urban settings of Nepal based on local needs and market demand in order to create self-employment opportunities at the local level.

Since 1992 they have trained 2250 youths in various trades and covered 42 districts of Nepal in collaboration with more than 100 local partners. Recently, they have been able to influence a mobile training approach to Bhutan also by imparting various skill-training courses and assisted to establish a government wing to impart mobile training programme.

Though they do not directly deal with producing crafts and textiles however they provide skill training to produce bamboo crafts and leather goods.
